“Safeguarding Americans . . . . For Americans . . . . By Americans.”

The Alliance for Homeland Security is a group of diverse companies, businesses, associations and think tanks and individuals concerned with addressing shortfalls in America's security. We promote and apply common sense management solutions, education, training and standardization of best practices to those fighting non-traditional warfare (NTW) at the federal, state and community levels. We support development of public-private partnerships that create solutions to address critical homeland security deficiencies. We also promote public awareness and education of non-traditional warfare topics at the grass-roots level. We help create synergy between the federal, state and community levels engaged in improving America's ability to fight non-traditional threats facing all Americans.

“We have entered a new era, and this new era requires new responsibilities. . .
“. . . I call on all Americans to serve by bettering our communities and thereby defy and defeat the terrorists . . .”

“Americans have a lot to offer. . .
“. . . [we need] to develop additional ways people can get directly involved in this war effort . . . . . .
by making our homes and neighborhoods and schools and workplaces safer.”

-- President George W. Bush, November 9, 2001
